Recently I went to the circus. I’ve been to the circus before and enjoyed the enthusiasm of the families, watching trapeze artists faithfully trusting their partner to catch them, and contortionists manipulate their bodies into positions they shouldn’t. However, this time I got to the experience the circus on a different level, with my friend for his engagement pictures.
Being the creative-minded photographer Michael is there is no surprise that he would choose to have his engagement photos taken at such an extraordinary place as the circus. Together with Michael’s fiancé, Shaun, having such a fun, free-spirited, life-loving personality, it is not hard to see why they are made for each other. This experience was reflective of their personalities.
Their love for each other, shown through the ability to be themselves with each other, their public affection, and the celebration of their togetherness, was comfortable, seemingly effortless, as they enjoyed each other. The circus presented a magical backdrop for capturing their love for each other. Performing to an audience of one, the heart.
